We sell beautiful wedding, prom and special occasion dresses, ready for you to buy and take away with you on the day or to order in for you to your own special requirements. At Studio 18, we offer 50% - 70% off the normal retail price on some of our wedding gowns. Although our aim is to find you the dress of your dreams at a fraction of the normal price, our focus is not to compromise on service, and we know how important your big day is to you, so we aim to be with you along every step of the way!

For that big prom event, we are proud stockists of Tiffany's prom dresses and offer a full range of fabulous styles and colours -  all available for you to try on at your leisure.

Here at Studio18, we also cover a variety of in-house alteration services, whether this is wedding, prom or general garments. We know how important it is that your outfit should fit you perfectly, which is why we use our in-house, highly qualified seamstresses to ensure you feel full of confidence on your special day.

Our Wedding Dresses

At Studio18 we pride ourselves in stocking Tiffanys Bridal and Tiffanys Timeless Wedding Dresses along with many others. We have many samples against which you can order your own specific bridal gown to your own design, colour and size specifications. We also have many off the peg bridal gowns which do not differ in any way, shape or form to any other wedding gown and are certainly not inferior to a gown ordered in especially for the bride to be - the simple difference being that many are a fraction of the price. The dresses you see in our studio are the actual dresses to purchase unless of course you need us to order in a particular style, colour and size to your own specifications just like any conventional bridal boutique.

Our Service to You

We ensure you can still have that fabulous bridal experience ensuring you a personal service in relaxed and fabulous surroundings but giving you the opportunity to make huge savings on your gown. We provide an appointment service lasting up to an hour long giving you the chance to find your dream wedding dress along with the closest people in your life. As we are a boutique style outlet we can accommodate up to three guests per bride on weekdays and two guests per bride at the weekend and for evening appointments.

Appointments

Please contact us directly to arrange an appointment time that works best for you and we can even offer appointments outside of our standard hours to assist those who require flexibility due to work commitments etc. As we do not charge a consultation fee for your 1 hour wedding dress appointment we would very much appreciate you notifying us to cancel any appointment that may no longer be required in order that we can free up the time.

Why You Should Choose Studio 18

We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service and only offer dresses that represent tremendous value. We have a wide range of dresses in various styles and sizes with various designers for you to choose from. Studio 18 has seamstresses in house who can carry out alterations on the premises in order to meet your needs. Alterations are not included in the price of the dress and are priced according to your specific requirements. If alterations are required we will arrange a plan of fittings up to your wedding day and these are charged and paid for separately to the dress. At Studio18 we also provide specialist shapewear such as "Miracle Suit" and "Secret Weapons" that ensures the perfect finish is achieved because the dress itself is only half the story - our seamstresses and shapewear ensure that you get noticed for all the right reasons!

At Studio 18 we have a wide range of styles and sizes from various designers for you to choose from. For brand new 2024/25 designs we are proud stockists of Tiffany's Bridal and Tiffany's Timeless wedding dresses.

Accessories

Studio 18 also have a range of specialist shapewear, shoes, veils, tiaras, diamante hair combes and a small selection of jewellery available.

Questions regarding our Wedding Dresses and Fitting Service

How can I personalise my chosen dress?
Along with adjusting the length and fit, we can make your gown one of a kind with:
Sleeves - Adjust sleeve lengths to your own preference where possible.
Corset Backs -  Swap a zip closure for one that laces up (and gives extra breathing room!)
Bustles - Create a different look for the reception by lifting up your train with a bustle.
What happens at the first fitting?
First fittings take about an hour for wedding dresses. You'll try on your dress, and one of our specialists will pin it to show the best alterations for a perfect fit. For a wedding dress with a train we can show you bustle options.
What should I bring to my fittings?
To ensure the perfect fit, bring the bra, slip, shapewear and shoes you plan to wear with your dress. The right lingerie/shapewear can change everything (we have these to purchase should you need them). Please avoid wearing any make-up and especially fake tan when trying on any of our dresses.
Who should I bring?
Ask one or two trusted friends. If your gown has a long train, you should invite your maid of honour to the final fitting so she can learn how to bustle your gown for the evening!
How much will any alterations cost?
We charge £15 per 30 minutes for your initial wedding dress alteration fitting. Prices for the actual alterations themselves vary based on the complexity of the alterations, so we'll need to see you in the garment first but there is of course no obligation to proceed once we have firmed up your price. Payment is due at the time of your first fitting and remember additional charges apply to rush orders so allow plenty of time.
What about pressing?
Our alterations service includes a professional press and steam to the areas where we have conducted alterations but we can also extend this to a full garment press and steam on request. Prices start at £50 for wedding dresses but are priced individually on request.
What about checking the dress?
 We will assist you in checking over the dress you have purchased or the dress we have altered on your behalf. Studio 18 cannot be held responsible for problems that occur once the dress has been purchased and left our premises. For our off the peg dresses, you the customer, are responsible for checking the garment for any marks or pulls in the fabric etc. We will assist you in this to ensure that you are totally satisfied.
